LeanCode has a diversified range of clients and projects working for companies from all over the world (i.e., Poland, Germany, France, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, the USA, and Australia). Our clients represent different industries from banking and insurance, through retail and Medtech products to SaaS solutions. This gives our team plenty of room to explore new businesses and master challenging domains.

We seek an experienced Head of Delivery, who will gradually join our executive team. As the HoD, you will oversee the delivery of all software projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality standards. In this role, you will introduce best practices for product development. You will also lead a talented team of project managers and analysts, driving continuous improvement in our delivery processes and methodologies.

CORE Responsibilities

Project delivery:

Delivery Excellence: Drive the implementation of best practices for feature delivery across all projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
Scope Optimization: Monitor project scopes to ensure alignment with product vision and strategic objectives.
Product Development Support: Provide guidance and support to product development teams, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and strategic goals.

Team management:

Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative environment for product knowledge sharing across projects, promoting best practices and efficiency.
Team Management: Lead and develop the analyst team, optimizing processes, tools, and methodologies for efficient and effective analysis.
Talent Development: Mentor and train existing analysts, supporting their professional growth.
Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new analysts, ensuring a seamless transition and effective knowledge transfer.

ASSISTING/SUPPORT ROLE:

Sales Support: Collaborate with sales to define project scope and ensure alignment with product vision and strategic objectives;
R&D Collaboration: Ensure successful development and implementation of new OSS initiatives and automation tools that can optimize the product development process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chief Product Officer, Head of Product, or similar role in a software development company.
Deep understanding of OSS development strategies.
Proven track record in adopting software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into product specifications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Passion for innovation and a drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Experience building and leading high-performing product teams.
Fluency in English.
